Just recovering from yesterday! What an e experience! Stephen took a group of us coasteering in superhero costumes to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and it was brilliant! The first challenge was getting into two wetsuits and a costume! My partner and I had been coasteering before so we kind of knew what to expect…… well we thought we did!

Stephen is a great instructor, he has a great awareness of dangers and never pushes you to take any risks! He’ll start you off with the lower jumps so you can get your bearings and work your way up. Although I was terrified at the time I always knew it was safe and it such an adrenalin rush you don’t even notice the cold! My boyfriend and I couldn’t get enough of the jumps!

Stephen also has a great camera to catch all the stunts and facial expressions so you can show your bravery to all your friends! They make great profile pics!

I have definitely found my new hobby and it is a chance to meet new people while experience nature at its best! A great day was had by all!

This was my first experience coasteering and I had a ball. Stephen is a great instructor and made us all feel very safe and the briefing was spot on. I will definitely be back, doing more things and may even join the coasteering club.

We took a group of young people coasteering with CoasteeringNI on a bracing day in October! Stephen and Ian were excellent throughout the activity, from getting the young people sorted with their equipment right through to helping them with the more difficult parts of coasteering.
Both instructors worked well in assisting the various levels of confidence. It was great to see some of the young people who had very little confidence at the start taking on the biggest jumps at the end.

Overall I would highly recommend booking CoasteeringNI – Stephen was great in providing us with all the relevant insurance, risk assessments, etc, that we require for any activities. Hold your breath and jump!

There’s very little more I can say bar TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

We were holidaying in the North Coast for a week and wanted to do something slightly more adventurous than the usual trip to Barrys! I contacted Stephen who fitted us in very quickly. I have 2 boys, age 6 and 4 and whilst my eldest is a complete daredevil and needing no prompting to jump into the water, the younger one is quite nervous around water. My partner and I struggled to even get him to dip his toes in the sea and it was looking like a lost cause but after only 5 mins with Stephen, he was climbing over the rocks and taxi’ing between jumps holding onto Stephens lifevest and kicking in the water flat out. Its great to see a company who are so great with young kids and made the experience all the more special for all the family! Have used these guys several times and will continue to do so in the future!

I got two vouchers for Coasteering for my birthday. Got to use them Wednesday evening. Arrived at Ballintoy harbor, beautiful wee spot, rocky outcrops along the coast, sun shining, sea nice and calm. Stephen kits you out with all the gear, wetsuit, life jacket and helmet. He takes you to the first gentle easy jump, but it feels high and scary and you know it’s only going to get higher from here on. It does but your confidence builds. By the end of the session we were jumping of a huge height, it felt huge to me anyway, the kind of height were you jump, then you have enough free-fall time to think to yourself ‘holy flippin’ moly this is high’ and then you crash into the water. Brilliant fun and experience. Beautiful location, Stephens a great guide, the equipment/suits are provided and you don’t need any great fitness or skills to do it – just a basic ability to swim and a whole shed load of guts. I highly recommend and intend to do it again, hopefully rope a few more friends into doing it too.
