Teens Adventure Summer Scheme 2018

Dates: Wednesday 1st August – Friday 3rd August 2018

10am – 4pm each day

For ages 11-17

3 fun filled days including Coasteering, Archery, Canoeing, Bush craft, kayaking & Team games!

Day 1 Ballintoy Harbour

On the first day the kids will take part in a variety of team games in the morning – then after a 1 hour supervised free time/lunch on the beach they will get kitted up for an afternoon of rock scrambling, adventure swimming, belly flopping, duck diving, cliff jumping and general splashing about in the water.

Day 2 River Bann

Spending the day in an open canoe on the river Bann, you will be stopping off on islands to learn bush craft skills aswell as competing in a digital treasure hunt with your teams throughout the day.

Day 3 Ballintoy harbour

The kids will learn some archery skills in the morning then after supervised lunch/free time we will head out coasteering to finish off the 3 day adventure and see if anyone has the nerve to go higher!

Our summer scheme is an opportunity for the children to meet new friends and have a safe, fun filled 3 full days on the North Coast experiencing new and exciting outdoor activities. Please book early as spaces are limited.

What they will need to bring

  • Packed lunch and plenty of water
  • Old shoes/trainers ( not sandals, flip flops or neoprene booties)
  • Swim wear for under wetsuits
  • Shorts for over wetsuits (brighter the better!)
  • A towel (or two)
  • A warm top
  • Sun cream (for all the amazing weather we have arranged)

All of our instructors are highly qualified, first aid trained and Access NI checked
